- On July 23, 2026, I had a documented $1,801.36 repair completed to address an engine-oil-cooler / oil-filter-housing leak and associated oil-pressure components.
- The work included the oil-filter housing, intake-manifold gasket set, water-temperature sensor, oil-pressure sender, coolant, oil and filter service, inspection, and engine-bay cleaning.
- On September 3, 2026, Masonic Smog Repair diagnosed the remaining EVAP leak as a faulty gas cap. I paid $43 for the replacement gas cap.
- The Jeep officially passed its California Smog Check on September 3, 2026, and the check-engine light is off.
